The trip will be led by Euan Miller, a Rotarian and Director of g’day [sa]. Stu-dents will be home-hosted in pairs by Rotarians and their partners at the historic Central Otago town of Cromwell. New Zealanders are noted for the warmth of their hospitality and all students will find this experience of staying with a family very rewarding and memorable.

Rotarians are local business and community leaders who devote their spare time to educational and humanitarian causes around the world. On the afternoon of December 11th the trip will return from Queenstown arriving Adelaide at 21:50 h. Students will have the opportunity of ex-tending their stay at their own cost while retaining the discounted return airfare. Cromwell began with the gold rush in the mid 19th century. It is located at the spectacular junction of two water bodies.

It is now a thriving tourist town with many of the old buildings still in use. It is the centre of the soft fruit growing industry. It is surrounded by breathtaking scenery set against the backdrop of high mountains and Lake Dunstan.
